Sewtec Automation renews SafeContractor accreditation for 16th consecutive year

Sewtec Automation has once again reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to health and safety in the workplace, after renewing its membership with specialist health and safety accreditors, SafeContractor for a 16th consecutive year.

Since joining the SafeContractor scheme in 2004, we’ve maintained the rigorous standards required for accreditation, which has aided our work with major national and international food manufacturing customers.

Commenting on our renewed accreditation, Gemma Archibald, managing director of Alcumus SafeContractor said: “We’re thrilled that Sewtec Automation Ltd have been SafeContractor members for sixteen years. We wish them every success with their future and are proud to have such a well-established company within our community of over 33,000 contractors.

“SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs whilst working with their contractors as they progress through the accreditation process. During the current economic impact of COVID-19 it is more important than ever that contractors enhance their reputation and win work. Achieving our UK-leading accreditation demonstrates their commitment to delivering the highest standards of health and safety.

Our director of business support, Mark Atkins, added: “We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and support, together with precision-engineered solutions. Our technical expertise, knowledge of the automation industry and experience of the markets we serve enables us to tailor each solution specifically to our customer’s requirements.

“Our customer base is vast and includes many blue-chip companies, several of whom require us to evidence health & safety compliance through achieving SafeContractor accreditation.
Since joining SafeContractor in 2004, our accreditation has enabled us to join the approved contractor list for several leading food manufacturers who only work with SafeContractor accredited companies.”
