Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction
Automated Industrial Robotics – AIR is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business activities and relationships ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place in any of our business operations.
This statement sets out the steps we will take in this financial year to address the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our organisation and supply chains.
Our business
AIR is a company of like-minded, global automation technology companies with a proven track record of delivering advanced, innovative solutions for the most challenging of manufacturing needs.
AIR has around 500 employees worldwide with automation business units currently based in the USA, Ireland, and the UK.
Our supply chain and due diligence
AIR’s supply chain includes a wide variety of suppliers and third-party contractors across our different business units.
We recognise that the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking are highest where we engage third-party suppliers to support our business requirements.
AIR will review and select suppliers that meet our own high business standards. We will carry out due diligence checks and require all suppliers to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. All suppliers will be required to sign and adhere to the AIR Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes provisions designed to ensure ethical employment practices within our supply chains.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
We recognise that respecting human rights is fundamental to operating a sustainable international business. We have a strong internal policy framework that includes equality, inclusion and health and safety policies designed to protect our staff and people working in our supply chain.
Whistleblowing and grievance policies are in place at all AIR business units alongside other support channels that together encourage our employees to speak up if they have any concerns about our workplace practices.
Training
To ensure understanding of the risks of slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains we will provide online training for those employees involved in supply chain, purchasing, finance and managers. It explains what modern slavery is and highlights the signs that team members should look out for and what to do if they are concerned.
Our next steps
- We will conduct a review of our business units to ensure the required steps are in place to restrict all opportunities of slavery or human trafficking in our business supply chains.
- Review internal processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking.
- Ensure suppliers have signed agreement to the relevant business unit supplier frameworks.
- Where applicable, conduct health and safety, ethics and compliance due diligence on suppliers via selected partners, Alcumus Safecontractor, Sedex and EcoVadis.
- Provide training and information highlighting the risks of modern slavery to wider employee and contractor groups.
This statement constitutes AIR’s slavery and human trafficking commitment for the financial year commencing January 2025 and will be reviewed at the end of the financial year.
Monitoring Effectiveness
We will review the effectiveness of our policies and report to our board of directors, when we will make recommendations on any additional steps which we believe will further mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our organisation and its supply chains.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Automated Industrial Robotics Modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the 12-month period ending 31st January 2026.
